From is the long distance (Hudson, New York and Brussels, Belgium)
collaboration between experimental electronic producer Michel Mazza and
singer songwriter Piero Delux. The project is an experiment on finding
balance between pop hooks and experimental arrangements.

The collaboration began with Piero using some of Michel’s improvised midi
guitar jams as inspiration to record songs with voice and acoustic guitar.
Michel then added textures, ambience, orchestration and arrangements. The
result of this collaboration is a melancholic and uplifting experimental
ambient pop/post rock album titled "A Memory of Tomorrow". Where dreamy storytelling
vocals float around midi guitar arrangements creating a futuristic slow
motion folk atmosphere with an almost symphonic feeling. Each track on the
album is layered with subtle glitches, field recordings, chopped
harmonized vocals, and orchestration with comforting hissy reverbs. "A
Memory of Tomorrow" is perfect for late night listening or a lazy
introspective rainy day next to the fireplace.
